Improve visual design of a children’s home iPad app
Methodist Home for Children runs 14 group homes across North Carolina, where resident counselors were losing hours a week to paperwork — until leadership went looking for software to give that time back.
I joined mid-stream as the sole designer, pushing the design forward across a tablet-first interface, providing UI for sections that had shipped without designs, and contributing production CSS and rewriting views as needed.
“I loved the initial design, but things kept getting better and more refined.” — Methodist Home leadership
“Kyle was able to assist in defining direction and continued to collaborate and implement improvements.”
“A great resource to bounce design ideas off of, even when he’s busy.”
